Tenerife Excursions – so many sights to enjoy
Perla Gris reception is your starting point for excursions to please all of the family, at affordable prices. Tenerife has so much to explore, and it’s good to do it in the shared friendship of other holiday makers.
Beauty from an explosive past
A good introduction to Tenerife is the Island Tour. This is a land of contrasts, from the sandy beaches of the south, up through the dry landscapes to the green and lush hills and valleys of the north.
Mount Teide is Spain’s highest peak at 3,718 metres and well worth a trip to the volcanic craters and up the cable car for a close up view of the often snow capped peak.
Take to the sea
You will have become familiar with the sight of La Gomera from your balcony, why not pop over for a visit to this nearest island or to the farthest east of the 7 Canary Islands, Lanzarote.
The Atlantic flows around the islands, and a third of all whales and dolphins either live or pass through these waters. A Whale and Dolphin Boat Trip is a unique chance to see these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, and a good way to top up that tan.
Park life and animal crackers
If family fun is high on your holiday list, you will find the wettest, fastest and scariest in easy reach. Aqualand, barely 5 minutes away in San Eugenio has water slides and pools, plus live dolphin shows. About 10 minutes further, above Los Cristianos, the Jungle Park will thrill you as birds of prey swoop and perform for your pleasure and the big beasts of the jungle roar as you try the adventure trails.
Siam Park is the newest addition, in Adeje, the Water Kingdom is the largest in Europe with 14 wet and wild rides and even its own surfing beach. Loro Park in the north setting of Puerto de la Cruz, always creates great memories. Live shows featuring sea lions, dolphins, parrots, and Orca whales compete for your affections with Planet Penguin, aviaries and exotic animals from around the world.
